High fever and aversion to cold, absence of perspiration, headache, stiffness and pain in the whole body, distension of the chest with productive cough, due to Wind-Cold-Damp Attack in a Zheng Qi Vacuity
Chronic cough and dyspnea, yellow expectorations or with the presence of blood and pus, irritability and heat sensation in the chest, due to Lung Qi Vacuity with Lung Heat
Run Pi Gao 潤脾膏 (Source: Sun Simiao’s 孙思邈 (541 - 682) Beiji Qianjin Yaofang 備急千金要方).
Use whole plants and add: Sesame Oil 250ml; Beeswax 40g (the more natural, the better). Containers for circa 300 ml (e.g. 12 jars of 25ml).
Preparation (if possible): Soak herbs in 250ml Sesame Oil over 9 days (after straining appr. 200ml oil will remain).
Indications: Spleen Heat, scorched lips and dryness.
Lumbar pain, in the lower portion of the abdomen, painful, frequent and urgent urination or presence of sand in the urine, due to Bladder Damp-Heat (stone)
Headache, aversion to cold, body and head pain and heaviness, light-yellow complexion, loss of appetite, body heat after midday in the initial stage of Damp-Heat striking Qi Level
Cough with difficult, abundant and whitish expectorations, with decreased appetite, due to Phlegm-Cold and Qi Stagnation (Lung Phlegm-Cold with Spleen Qi Vacuity)
