Indications : Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang expells wind-dampness to unblock the meridians and tonifying the liver and kidney. It is indicated in cases of long term obstruction syndrome by damp-cold-wind associated with a double emptiness of the liver and kidneys and a lack of qi and blood, marked by pain and flaccidity of the lumbar region and knees, difficulty in flexion and extension of the joints, numbness, aversion to cold with preference for heat, palpitations, shortness of breath, pale tongue, white lingual coating, fine and weak pulse.
