Indications: Gui Pi Tang supports the qi and tones the blood, strengthens the spleen and the heart. It is used in case of agitation which disturbs the mind of the heart, in case of double emptiness of the qi and the blood of the heart and the spleen and in case of spleen which does not collect blood, marked by palpitations, amnesia, insomnia, restless sleep, disturbing dreams, anxiety, unjustified worry, withdrawal, night sweats, vacuum fever, febrile state, lassitude, fatigue, poor appetite, sensitivity to epigastric pressure, subcutaneous purpura, metrorrhagia, early menstruation, heavy and clear periods, persistent vaginal bleeding, yellowish withered complexion, pale skin tone, pale tongue, thin white tongue coating, fine and weak pulse.
