Indications: Mai Men Dong Tang nourishes the lungs and stomach, generates fluids, directs rebellious qi downward, and harmonises the middle jiao. For lung dryness, lung and stomach yin deficiency, dry and irritated throat, severe and continuous coughing, asthma, shortness of breath, chest tightness, nausea, vomit, hiccups, hoarseness, scanty and resistant phlegm and a red tongue tip with fine and rapid pulse.
